General Use

Hours and cancellation

Professionals on the platform are expected to manage their own hours based on their availability. If booked, professionals will have 10 minutes to cancel the booking if they are otherwise engaged during the time of requested booking. Cancellation after that time will result in a strike. If a professional accumulates 5 strikes they will be suspended from Monada for 1 month.

If a customer cancels their booking within 2 hours of the scheduled service time, they will be charged 50% of the treatment cost by the platform. 87.5% of this fee will go to the beautician, 12.5% of this fee will go to Monada. If a customer cancels 5 bookings within a 4 week period they will be suspended from Monada for 1 month. If they cancel their treatment more than 2 hours before the scheduled time, there will be no charge.

Payment

Payment is handled through our third party provider ‘Mangopay’ (please see Privacy Policy for further Information). Monada’s 12.5% admin fee will be processed before payment is made to professional from customer.

Insurances and vetting of professionals

All professionals on the platform are vetted by the admin. Once a professional is properly vetted, Monada does not take responsibility for the quality of the service provided by the professional. However, Monada will do everything to assist and find a suitable solution. All professionals on the platform are to be aware that they must obtain and acquire their own insurances for the services that they are providing on the platform. Monada will not provide this.

Travel for professionals

All professionals are to arrange their own travel arrangements and costs of travel when travelling to and from a customer.

Equipment

Professionals are expect to have their own equipment and kits relevant to the services that they are providing on the platform.
